California!

We are back from our fantastic vacation! The weather was beautiful and it was great to spend so much time together as a family and with our friends. We spent our first few days in the LA area, going to Disneyland, and spending time with Paula, a friend of Derek's from college. Then we drove down to sunny San Diego, went to the zoo, and spent time with our friend Matt.

It was tough to come back to the cold New England weather, but it's nice to be home. Luke had a great time on the trip. He is fascinated by all parts of flying and kept talking about going on the "blue plane up up in the sky." He enjoyed the rides at Disney, but was a little unsure of the characters. Luke was a real trooper on the trip - we were on the go the whole time, and he kept up with us and was a very good boy! Most of all we enjoyed having a whole week to spend as a family.

 While in LA I took a tour at Paramount Studios where some of my favorite TV shows are filmed. The studio is full of Hollywood history and I really enjoyed the tour!
