Luke is six months old today! It is amazing how fast time flies. It really feels like just yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital, but yet we can't remember what life was like before Luke. It's been a wonderful six months and we are looking forward to watching Luke continue to grow!
I'm six months old today!
Luke has also been trying lots of new foods besides rice cereal and carrots. Now he also eats sweet potatoes and applesauce. He does have a funny quirk when he eats, though. He likes to suck his thumb after every bite. He pulls his thumb out when he's ready for another bite, and then sucks his thumb again. We like to say he's helping push the food down :-) Here's a video of him in action:
Luke is also big enough now to play in his jumperoo, which he really enjoys. He likes to explore all the toys and is getting good at bouncing around!
